The Brazilian Community of Information Systems was created to respond to the need to create a channel that would spread Information Systems professionals and the IT community in general, these professionals are extremely important for the 21st century.

Starting with 3 people, it is currently a large community with more than 155,000 followers on social networks and over 4.5 million page views and 12 million page views (Updated 9/15/2017). They also have several collaborators, helping to distribute quality content to everyone and free of charge.

They are currently located in Manaus in the state of Amazonas, with representatives in Brasília in the Federal District and Salvador in Bahia.
